Accessed from the small hamlet of Le Plan – just a short drive from La Giettaz itself – the north-facing slopes of the 100km Portes du Mont Blanc area have a growing reputation for both quiet, hassle-free pistes and superb off-piste tree skiing and ski touring. During spring, summer and autumn, the area offers outstanding hiking, road cycling, mountain biking and many other outdoor activities.
